Clever Impressions Website Design...
...had two staff members in Daytona Beach, Florida from March 15th,
2001 until March 23rd, 2001. Our purpose was to capture the "spirit"
of the Spring Break mystique that draws 1000's of Collegians to this
annual ritual on film (in this case digital images).
All the "Breakers" that we met in this period of
time welcomed us enthusiastically and often encouraged/invited us
(if not dragged us) to Clubs, Nightspots, Contests etc. We offer
them many thanks. All our photos of Daytona were shot with a Sony
Mavica CD1000 utilizing a 1.4 teleconverter additional add-on lens
and Flash. During our stay in Daytona we took approximately 1000
photographs all of which have appeared to come out quite
well.
Treasure Island Motel in Daytona was
gracious enough to allow us to shoot photos inside Hook's Landing
(motel lounge). Many of our indoor photos were shot here as
everynight they had various forms of entertainment, dancing etc.
Todd and Sue were our bartenders (never a dull moment). Dean was the
Director of Catering and Beverage and did not throw us out as we
jammed our cameras in the patrons faces. We attempted to remain
neutral and professional but it was difficult not to get caught up
in the fanfare at times, thus making our trip to Daytona quite a
memorable experience.
Thanks again to everyone that
befriended us and showed us a good time, without you our trip would
have been a bust.
